Over a long career, I have written plays, opera librettos, musicals, cantatas, documentaries, speeches, poems, short stories, song lyrics, commercials, international marketing campaigns and wide-ranging Web content – while based in Edmonton, Toronto, London UK, Vancouver and countless sublets and hotel rooms around the world. So it’s no surprise that my debut novel, A Bag of Lucky Teeth, is peopled with quirky characters doing extraordinary things under serendipitous circumstances.
